Applications for a permit to speak in the Public Expression Zone were accepted until 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, October 5, 2016. Late and/or incomplete applications will not be considered.
Washington University will determine the length of time available for each speaker based on the total number of requests received. Speaker time slots will be determined by lottery on a content neutral basis. The university will make every effort to accommodate all applicants. A schedule of speakers will be posted on or before October 8, 2016 at debate.wustl.edu/public-expression and at the Public Expression Zone. To protect the safety and security of all participants, speaking times and other provisions may be altered by the university, law enforcement or security personnel. The university reserves the right to deny access to groups or individuals who do not comply with the restrictions of the Public Expression Zone or the safety and security requests of law enforcement officials located on the site.
