For the third time in Washington University’s storied history of hosting debates, a town-hall meeting has been selected as the format for the Oct. 9 debate.
On Sept. 23, 2015, Chancellor Mark S. Wrighton, along with other university and student leaders, shared the news with the university community and the St. Louis media at a press conference.
As the eyes of the world turn to the 2016 U.S. presidential election, Washington University in St. Louis will play a prominent role in the national political conversation when it hosts a presidential debate on Sunday, Oct. 9, 2016.
