The world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales will make a special appearance on the Danforth Campus at Washington University in St. Louis Friday, Oct. 7, ahead of the presidential debate.
At 1:30 p.m., the full hitch is scheduled to depart Brookings Hall and then parade around the campus with Chancellor Mark S. Wrighton riding on the wagon. Proceeding down Forsyth Blvd., the hitch will follow a route leading to the front of the Athletic Complex, where Anheuser-Busch brewmaster Rob Naylor and Doug Bailey, vice president of industry affairs, will present a commemorative crate of Budweiser to Chancellor Wrighton.
Those 21 and over in the Washington University community can enjoy Anheuser-Busch beers, including Lilly’s Lager, a special batch beer brewed exclusively for the St. Louis presidential debate.
