VP Debate Ticket Lottery

The student ticket lottery closed at 12:00 p.m. CST September 26. The number of students who entered the lottery was 7,942. At this point, no tickets have been issued to the University by the Commission on Presidential Debates. All students entering the lottery will be notified of their status via email by 8:00 p.m. on September 26. The students in the top 300 of the lottery results will remain in the pool of potential ticket-holders, however we do not know how many, if any, of those students will receive tickets. If you entered the lottery and did not receive an email, you can inquire by emailing vpdebatetickets@wustl.edu.

No debate tickets are available for the public through Washington University. All tickets that may come to the University are exclusively reserved for our students. All tickets are assigned by the Commission on Presidential Debates, and the majority of these tickets go to the two campaigns for distribution to their supporters. Any tickets not used by the CPD or the campaigns are expected go to the winners of the WUSTL student lottery the evening of the debate. Administrators, faculty, staff, alumni, parents, and the public will not receive any tickets given to the University.
