Southern Illinois University Edwardsville will host DebateWatches open to the community during the Oct. 17 debate. The event will be at 7:30 p.m. on the second floor of the Morris University Center on the SIUE campus. For more information, call (618) 650-3607.

Principia College in Elsah, Ill. will be hosting a DebateWatch open to the community for the presidential debate on Oct. 17. The DebateWatch will be held in Wanamaker Hall on the Principia campus beginning at 7:30 p.m. For more information, call Tim Booth at (618) 374-5161.

Student-organized DebateWatches will be open to the community at Lindenwood College in St. Charles at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 17. Reservations are suggested and can be made by calling Mary Sivage at (636) 925-1779 or by e-mailing her at msivage@hotmail.com. Sponsored by political science students, the DebateWatch is open to up to 60 people. The DebateWatch will be at the Memorial Arts Building (Young Hall) at Lindenwood.
